Burtons bridal dresses review

I see you girls talking about going to many bridal stores but Never Burtons.

Does anyone have a review on that place for dresses ?? I hear the flowers are reasonable too

the flower place, and the dress place, are the SAME place?

I made an appt and i am hoping to knock off 2 things at once. But if its not worth it I am not going to rush over there.

i went there for my dress.. think i found the ONE there.. have to go back..

I loved it.. it was quiet and Carol was SOOOO helpful and patient. it was more personal there than at other places i went to

i def think you should check them out!

The dress shop is upstairs from the florist. Their prices are very reasonable and the people are nice. If you're looking for a nice decorative bridal boutique you are not going to find that their. I do know many people who have bought their dresses there and were very happy!!

they def do both. I am getting my dress from there and my sis got her flowers there and they were gorgeous. I plan on checking them out for flowers too. apparently b/c they do not advertise and they work out of what is not really a nice looking storefront, they are able to give way better prices than a lot o other places. They gave me a better price by far on my dress than 3 other places did...

My friend got her dress there. Her pics are in my album under bob and sue's wedding. She loved it there.

i went there twice. the ladies were very polite and patient with FMIL and I. they just didn't carry the dress I wanted.

i went to burtons.. and yes they are very VERY nice!! it's a little non descript house located on block parallel to route 110 in melville.. their location is soo low key.. when i found it i didn't believe that was the place so i wound up calling them from my car to make sure.. didn't want to roll up in someone private residence..

but they are extremely nice, non pushy and helpful.

I had a bad experience there!!!! they have some nice dresses but I'm big and didnt fit into some of the ones I liked... It was a really crappy experience becuase they had me in my underwear and bra out in the room holding dresses up infront of me but i have heard other people say really good things about them my recomendation is if you wont fit into a size 10 wedding dress, they arent worth it

I'm getting my BM dresses, my gown and my flowers at Burtons.

Mike and John, who do the flowers, are both super nice people. Plus I got a fantastic price from them.

I never actually went there to try on dresses, but when I found the dress I liked I called (Carol) and asked them how much they could get it for and wound up purchasing it there because the price was just unbeatable. I did the same thing with my BM dresses. They don't actually carry the line that I want in the store but they can get it cheeper then anyone else. They also told me that bodice alterations on my wedding gown are free.

I love them!!

Ditto! I love Carole...and my flowers will be amazing and they're a GREAT price!
