My mom asked them the same question when we were there. The lady said that they buy wholesale and guarantee that they are going to buy a certain amount of flowers every month. They pass that savings along to the customer. The woman (Bobbi, I think) told me that some months they don't use all the flowers that they order, but its a lot cheaper for them to order a certain amount, regardless if they will use them or not...

That's funny that your mom asked that....but it's true! I am so scared I will get the Bo-K, and it will be like 1 calla lily!
I guess they wouldn't have so much business if that was the case!
Thank you again!

Re: Burton's in Melville?
NO catch. I've asked a million times if I add this, that, this, that, are you SURE it doesn't change? Including callalilies (you can tell them how many) and they said 'no change.'

Re: Burton's in Melville?
I used them, they were great! The prices were great, but they did not skimp on flowers by any means. My arm hurt all day because my boquet was so heavy. Here's a pic 4 ya.
I really priced around and I know many people who used them. They do great flowers at amazing prices and you can get any flower you want for the same price. Plus they gave me so many free things on my contract as well. Its great! Plus only a 50 dollar deposit.!

I used them--check out my review. Overall they were good--but I did have small issues with them, nothing major.
