Busier than normal Hurricane Season this year:

I really hope they are wrong. I have been worried about this

It's a good idea to have honeymoon insurance anyway, above and beyond the hurricane insurance that places like Sandals have (we're going to Sandals.)

I can't remember which one I was looking at, but one of the ultra-expensive resorts I briefly considered--maybe the Cuisinart Turks and Caicos--had a better hurricane policy. It wasn't just that if a hurricane hit, it was if a hurricane was predicted to hit the area. So make sure you check before you book! And if they don't have good insurance, make sure to get your own. We have insurance above and beyond because I'm chronically ill and it's always possible I could be too ill to travel.

we worry enough about things we can control, lets not waste time thinking about things we cant!!

I lived in Key West during the the 04 season...Charlie, Ivan and I can tell you first had it *****. My mom was visiting my brother 2 yrs ago in the key's when Katrina started to hit. She couldn't catch a flight out because at the last minute the storm changed course and she drove to Miami for a flight home. I just pray everyone is safe and listens to the warnings.
My advice:
For those of you going in the caribian?, I can't spell, .......if it's cnx due to a hurrican just be thank-ful you don't live there, resched, and take a weekend trip until you can resched the HM of your dreams.

That is what they said last year! But it was so tame. I try not toread into long term forecasts. Meteorloigists can barley tell you what the weather will be tommorow. JMHO
