Bussle Question
Welp, I had my last fitting and took my dress home today. I did not want a train, just a sweep in the back so my seamtress was going to cut it all off...Long story short..she decided NOT to cut it all off and just sorta bussle it UNDER the dress. It looks very nice since there was alot of beautiful work back there that now can be seen but is this weird that I will be walking down the isle with an already bussled dress?
I dont have time to do anything about it now, so lie to me if you have to
lol

Re: Bussle Question
honestly...there isn't anything you can do now...with that said. if you didn't want a train, then you won't miss it, so for the short time you walk down the aisle with the dress already 'bustled' most people probably won't notice ...they will just think you don't have a train...I realized that you can't sweat the small stuff. I am sure you will be beautiful....

Re: Bussle Question
I think most guests don't know the difference between a train and a bustle anyway, lolif it looks pretty, then don't worry about it.
It's your day anyway, and everyone will think you look fabulous

Re: Bussle Question
Don't worry about the bustle...as long as your seamstress secured it properly and it won't come DOWN during your wedding, than I am sure it will be fine and you have nothing to worry about.I definitely think that all of your female guests will know the difference between a train and a bustle, but I am sure they will think that you WANTED your dress in a permanent bustle for a reason.
I had a friend that had her wedding dress permanently bustled for the wedding day b/c she was very petite and didn't want to drag the train behind her. She loved the detail on the dress and didn't want to cut it off.

Re: Bussle Question
On the bright side... a train is a big pain (even a little sweep) to cart around all day. Bustled = easy.

Re: Bussle Question
I think it will be fine. If your happy with it, then that's all that matters. Besides there are a lot of dresses out there that have that busseled look to them. I don't think anyone will notice.Welcome New Vendors
