bustle

Hi,

I need help! I went for my 1st fitting a few days ago and now i'm having a panic attack. She pinned my bustle- my dress is mermaid style the one that is my little icon thing- and she pinned it with 9 points. i didn't look into bustles before hand or anything but everytime i tried on the dress they would just pick up the back and say 'look how pretty you're bustle will be' and it was just brought up very plain but looked nice because all the beading came down the back of the dress. when she pinned it though it got a little fluffy. she asked if i wanted over or under and i said over but she kind of fanned out the material but i didnt think much of it. when i came home though and asked friends they said 9 points seems like a lot and that it sounds like i want somthing more simple with just 1 point. i'm scared to call back i dont know if i should just leave it cause she knows what shes doing or what??

i don't know that much about bustles, but i would think you'd want more than one point. what if the one point broke?

Re: bustle

the more buttons the more secure and elaborate the design is. I had 9 points in my dress and unfort it still fell down but it was the loops of the satin pieces that were too big so it wasn't locked in so well.

Single button for sure will fall if you plan to dance a bit if your dress is heavy.
