Busy Wedding Weekend!!
So... busy weekend and because you all have been amazing, I will do my best to post pics!
1. We booked our honeymoon (we used tripology) to Thailand for 2 weeks! We are staying at Rocky's on Ko Samui. We are so happy with our travel agent and he is really knowledgeable on the region. The hotel is gorgeous and we get to see Bangkok, Ko Samui, a few surrounding islands and hopefully Hong Kong!
This is keeping me sane through these round times!
2. I had a hair and makeup trial with Claudia and Maureen Pedala. They are going to send me pictures tomorrow and I will post then. I loved them. They were wonderful and I really FEEL beautiful. The make-up has been holding up VERY well with the heat.
3. Sample from Flowers by Michele- I did not take a pic, but I will try to describe very well. First, John was amazing! He listened to everything I said at our initial meeting. We have very tall glass vases with a collar of hydrangeas (all white) with very tall calla lilies and some light branches (to hold candles). All of the girls are going to have mini-calla lily bouquets. We are doing all whites and ivories.
4. We also ordered our favors. My FH and i met in Greece. We are giving out mini bottles of Ouzo with either a magic eye key chain or bracelet thingy (we have all of the beads so we are still deciding). We are also going to do a donation (My mom works at Make-A-Wish) and for the kids we are still thinking!
YAY!!!
Seriously... I know I don't post a lot (2nd year teacher still in grad school), but all of your advice has been amazing!
On another note, I was on etsy today and found these really cute things called 'Cootie Catchers' which I know as fortune tellers. We are going to have them printed to have fun facts about FH and me! We wanted to leave either fun facts about ourselves or the people our guests are seated with and these fit that idea perfectly!
I am going to Mark Ingram Bridal 2 for my moms dress this week! YAY!!
