Butter not kept in fridge?????

Someone told me that some people dont keep butter in the fridge. I thought it would go bad....

I really think it depends how long it takes you to use butter...

we literally go through a stick in 2 days...

I don't care what you think...I love my butter soft and you people don't know what you are missing when you spread soft butter (I mean really soft butter) on toast that has just come out of the toaster...and it instantly melts...

My mom is from minnesota and they NEVER would put butter in the fridge, and therefor...neither do I~

LOVE my soft butter!

(not to mention, it never get's that refridgerator (sp?) taste)
