this looks good, but i would be scared that the doves would poop all over me and my guests

So funny you asked this - my mom mentioned this to me a couple weeks ago.

I wasnt a big fan of the idea - having live things released kinda freaked me out.

But there are other items - bubbles, ribbon wands, popper steamer things

HaHa can u imagine, that would be bad? From what I know they are trained to fly straight ahead and then into the basket or cage brought by the owners. The company North Doves answered this question for a bride, here is the response

Do they ever, you know...'Poop' on people?
Our doves follow a strict feeding schedule. When they are released, it is on an empty stomach, so they are technically 'Pooped Out' for over 12 hours before the event. There is very little chance of any mess. They are also very clean and bathe regularly in bath salts to keep them looking beautiful. They love playing in the bath and splashing each other!

I would be afraid of them pooping too it does look pretty and its nice.
I googled the butterflies they are pricey one website has them $90 for a dozen. I was think about just having my bridal party and parents his and mine release them If I could find them cheap enough I would by more
I really wanted the picture where everything is bnw but the petals and then I saw online everything bnw with the butterflies on color =)

It is sad, a lot of them do die cause they touch there wings and stuff, plus a lot of companies wrap them in a box like a gift so they have no room to fly around. Im a butterfly lover haha Have butterflies tattooed all over me LoL

Agreed! This is so sad. Half the time they are either dead or still frozen when it's time for them to be released and the one's that do survive the release die because they can't find their way home.

Re: Butterflies???

I think you may have a problem since your wedding is in September. Im a pre-k teacher and we do the whole life cycle of a butterfly and we always do it in April to May because thats when its the most likely they will survive from caterpillar stage to butterfly stage. They don't last very long, but I would check on-line to make sure im right and i know they are very fragile so I don't know if they would be able to be shipped. I would check on line

thats so terrible that they dont allow petals!! I would go with bubbles.. I know my church dnt allow rice bc birds can eat it n it expands in their bellies making them sick
