Has anyone been to a wedding that had butterfly releases?? What company did people use? Good impressions? Bad impressions...help a LIW bride out please :)

I went to a wedding where each guest was given a butterfly to release. The ceremony was outside so we were given the package before we sat down so (not knowing what it was) some people squeezed the package making the butterflies bleed. I would suggest if you're giving one to each guest, tell them what it is before giving it to them.
Luckily we didn't have that happen! Each invivdual envelope also stated that there was a live butterfly in there (its the envelopes that swallowtail farms supplies). We also mentioned the release in our ceremony program. HTH

Does anyone know if the butterflies can be white??? I always only see the orange and black ones???

From the research I did, you only have the choice of Monarchs or Painted Ladies (neither are white)!! The monarchs are def prettier, and have a larger wing span!
