Butterfly Themed

Ok, so over the past week I've decided that I definatly want to work some type of theme into my wedding. When I was buying the girls jelwerly at Swovorski, I saw these two beautiful butterflies...one was blue and the other purple..taht match my wedding!! YAY! So... I am going to be putting those on both sides of the guest book / wishing bowl. Anyone have any other ideas how I can work the butterfly theme into the wedding...??

I was also thinking of decorating the frames (favors - photos of each guest) with some butterflies...and maybe getting some at a craft store that are on a sitck to put in the centerpieces..??? What do ya think? It's a rather last minute thing since I have EVERYTHING else figured out...just got stumped on this.

what type of centerpieces are you having and do u already have a favor picked out ??

The favors I'm doing are photo favors. The guests have the full CH to take pics with the photgrapher, (he's gonna try to get them as they walk in...he's got 2 asst. and says that it goes very quickly...so it's not like their will be lines or anything. EW!) And at the end of the night, they will get their pic (the best one that me and FH pick out) in a frame...that I am decorating. :) I think it's a more personal favor then the tradational..since everyone will be all dressed up..and then getting a free 5x7 to keep forever of THEMSELVES....so far everyone I told it to LOVE it!! :)

I'm having tall centerpieces...I have pics of ideas I like in my album. The pics NEVER end up working for me on here... SOrry!

I am doing a butterfly theme too!!!! I am getting butterfly accent picks and putting them on the centerpiece. I am also putting them in my Bok. I am getting invitations with butterflies. I was gonna do a butterfly release but decided against it. I also want to get a butterfly crystal clip for my hair. And have wording in my invitation.

OMG!! I LOVE THEM ALLL!!!!

Now I have sooo many choices to play around with!
I don't want to chance the release since my wedding is early April. I talked to a rep. and she told me that if the weather isn't above 70 and it's not sunny, they more or likely won't release as expected..... Soo... I also don't want to harm any ... :( That was my original idea...but me and FH decided against it.

I'm making my own FG baskets and RB pillow...so I'm totally putting some butterflies on there.

I'm looking for a good site that has CHEAP flower, small, purple pink and blue butterflies made out of feathers. Anyone have an idea what I'm talking about?? LOL> I can use them in soo many ways!

I haven't seen your post till now. LOL... but I think it's the best idea! I mean, I've been to sooo many wedding...and you ALWAYS get the SAME thing! I was gonna do a donation...but EVERYONE is doing that for their wedding next year...of our friends. Soo..I'll request to have that done at the bridal shower or baby shower or some shower! LOL.

At least the photo favor the guests will keep since it's THEMSELVES! They can put it on their fireplace or hang on the wall since the frames I'm decoating myself. :) Sooo cute!

I'm doing other little things as favors too, but not as major. :)
