Are they called anything specific? I spoke to the woman who does alterations and she had no idea what I was talking about when I asked how much it was to add more to the dress!

Hmm I didn't think they had a name... I have buttons in the back of my dress going completely down the train but I don't know what they'd be called other than buttons.

the buttons on your dress are used for the bustle so probably thats why, you bustle a dress by the hooks to the buttons.
