which one?? We bought our Rottie from a 'breeder'....it was a person DH went to school with and bred his dogs and was selling the pups.....and DH wants another purebreed...but I'm a mutt kind of girl...

He looks like a gentleman with his paws crossed but he is a TERROR sometimes with other dogs - he feels like he must dominate. He had a 'pack' when we lived in Brooklyn, and he would rough around with them (the other pack members were boxers) and now that we moved, he just terrorizes other dogs, unless they are small. For some reason he likes small dogs. We're trying to find him some friends that he will act decently with. It's very embarrassing b/c people look at us like we trained to be a killer dog, but I swear we didn't! And he is such a love with people. Wendy - I swear when our dogs meet I will give Guinness a big lecture before meeting your dogs and I'll have Jason take him home if he acts up.

We adopted our dog from the pound. He's 1/2 boxer 1/2 mastiff. He's wonderful!! As for those of you who are looking for purebreeds, you can adopt them thru rescue groups. I highly recommend that. Before you consider a breeder, look into a rescue group for whatever dog it is your wanting. If you are not planning on showing or breeding you dog, it really doesnt need a pedigree. IMO!! Happy puppy hunting!!
