i dont have a FH... i do have a boyfriend but he's not paying for it, just me. (long story short i was on this website when i was engaged, we broke up, but i love the girls here so i stayed)

i'd prefer western suffolk or eastern nassau. no further east than commack, no further west than bellmore.(even more east than that)

to be honest, i only got it because my sister and uncle both passed away. it was my uncles money. he left half of it to my sister and half of it to me, but my sister died so i got all of it.

Definitely buy!!! I am a homeowner, technically a condo owner. Now is a great time to buy, just make sure you have 20% to put down, a credit score over 700, and you'll need to provide between 3-6 months of bank statements, 401k's, IRA's, and paychecks.

My mortgage is through Chase, the have so many wonderful programs for first time homeowners. FM me if you want my mortgage broker's name and number, he was fantastic.

Now's the time to buy!

I'm sorry for your loss, make sure you put this money towards a serious investment.

Oh, and make sure even after puchasing the home, have a bare minimum of 6 months living expenses as back up in your savings.
