Buying a gift ~ Need a quick response!

I am going shopping shortly for a birthday gift for my dad. I want to buy him a very 'good' (read: expensive' ) cologne, but I don't have time to smell them all.

Can anyone recommend a few for me to test?? Aqua di Gio is out because that's what Patrick wears.

Jeff wears Ralph Lauren's 'Romance' It is nice, but I don't know if the name itself is something you want to give your Dad.

Hmmm....my stepdad wears Dolce & Gabanna for Men and Micheal for Men by Michael Kors (both on the more $$$ side!)

Claud, I am roaring with laughter about your comment on Romance... it's SO true! He'd probably laugh at the connotation of the name, but I STILL don't want to go there.

Aside from, that Patrick also wears Romance from time to time, and I would rather my dad and DH had their own distinct smell.

I will definitely check out Michael Korrs, D&G, and Polo Blue though.

Jenn I agree with you....I would not want Jeff wearing anything that smelled like my stepdad OR my brothers, for that matter...or, even an Ex!
