Does anyone know of any places that sell tiaras at reasonable prices? I know there are plenty of sites online to purchase one, but I like the idea of being able to try them on to see how they look. Any info. would be great thanx.

If you are in the city at all take a stroll down 34th & 35th streets from 6th to 8th Ave. There are tons of stores that carry Tiara's at a variaty of prrice ranges.

I am getting mine custom made. The woman actually charges a lot less than the stores do and she'll put together something exactly how you want it. You can also get your veil custom cut from her as well. Let me know if you want her info, I'll be happy to get it for you!

Re: Buying a Tiara
I actually bought a tiara on eBay, and it looked very similar to expensive ones I've seen in stores (and it came in 3 days). Though I like it, I realized that I am not comfortable with a tiara on my head, so I then went to Patchogue Floral and bought a comb/tiara which is much more comfortable for me. What I liked about patchogue is I could try many of the pieces on and not feel pressured into picking one out. Go during the week or very early on Saturday (before 12) if you do go. It gets very busy on Saturday afternoon.
They also have a lot of favors on display.

Is the Patchogue floral you are talking about the same place called Fantasyland? There is a place in Patchougue called fantasyland and they have a ton of bridal stuff there. I was there about a month agao. I think I'm going to get my cake topper there.

Yes, Patchogue Floral and Fantasyland are the same place. I got my tiara and veil there for under $100.

Re: Buying a Tiara
I have been there before, I don't remeber but do they have a big selection of tiaras there? Good Quality?
Has anyone ever been to or heard of Boutique de Voile? It's a wholesale headpiece and veil outlet in Westbury. Aslo Bridal styles in Brooklyn? They make custom designed headpieces. I was just wondering if it's worth going there. I might just go to the one in Westbury to check it out, but the one in Brooklyn is kinda far for me.

Boutique de Voile
I've been there twice. They are located off of Old Country Rd, near Century 21. The first time I went there was to see what selection of tiara they had. They had a good amount of tiara to choose from. Also, if you don't see exactly what you are looking for, they can create one for you from sratch. I did not buy my tiara from there only because my FMIL suprise me a brought me a taira. However, I took the tiara she brought me to Boutique de Voile to get more stones added on. And they did a fantastic job.
