Buying a wedding dress on eBay...

I've been shopping around some bridal stores to get an idea of what style dress looks best on me and then I was going to look for a comparable one on eBay. I found a lovely one for about 1/5 the price of the one I loved in the store. Has anyone else bought their dress on eBay and how did it turn out for you?

David's Bridal! I love my dress and it was $299! I know people have had some horror stories but I loved Joanne in Massapequa. Also, I see you're getting married in May. David's dresses come quick with no extra charge

I have a horror story with the massapequa store with a younger girl who's name I wont mention. I loved Nina in Westbury, she was amazing! I don't think i'm going to buy from them because the only one I liked from the 10 I tried on was $700. I found a comp on eBay for $150. Even if it doesn't work out, it's only a $150 loss... not gonna cry over that.

I have not. Is it through a company or a personal seller? I woukd check their reviews and refund policy. I know some cgirls posted their dressed on preownedweddingdresses whether it was new or used. Good luck whatever you decide!
