How much do you think you can negotiate off the price of a new car? We're thinking about buying an '05 Accord.

go to edmonds.com and find the invoice price. Negotiate from there.

If u belong to costco they have a program that the dealership can only go over the manufacturing price by $500.00 call them and find out which dealer is in the program!!

I got my honda from Huntington Honda, they have ads for sales in the paper quite often. I got my car for almost $2500 off of the MSRP because of the ad, it was funny because when we sat down to talk about the price the guy quoted me something rediculous, and I pulled out the ad and said I want this price, and the look on his face was priceless, he's like, ohhh you want that price.....and I got it

I just bought an 05 Accord last week - I LOVE it!!! I was able to negoiate the price by bringing in a printout of the car/model I wanted from CARSDIRECT.COM - It's about 2-4 grand under MSRP.
