Buying wedding gowns???

You can call the company with the style # and find out exactly what store has it. Or call some of the stores tell them the problem -that some stores are listed but in reality they don't have it and give them the style # and see if it is in the store before you go.
I had done this a number of times. They ususally are cooperative.

This was a huge problem for me -- I even drove all the way to Milwaukee (I live in CHicago) to see a dress (which I hated the minute I saw it). It just so happened that I fell in love with 2 dresses that I couldn't find in any stores. I thought if I just found which stores carried the designer I'd be fine. Not so much. A lot of times the manufacturers can tell you which stores carry that particular dress, but not always. Even then I would call the store to confirm, sometimes the sell it off the rack or something. I ended up unable to find one of the dresses I wanted -- it was by St Patrick & it turnes out it was for next season's collection & wouldn't be out for a while. Just be prepared that there might be some dresses you can't find. It was hard for me because even when I loved a dress I tried on, it just wasn't the one in the magazine.
As for it not being in your size -- unless you are size 8-12, it won't be. You just have to use your imagination.

I found my dress.... (WHICH BY THE WAY CAME IN YESTERDAY - OMG - IT'S REALLY HAPPENING), and had to do a huge search to find it.

What I did was print out all the sellers of Private Label by Ginza (my dress is made by them), and start calling them giving all the stores the model number, and finding out who had it.

It turned out that around the 20th or so store, I found it. I went that night and tried it on, and it worked out so well that my FMIL bought it for me as my engagement gift the next weekend.....

It takes a few phone calls, but I'm sure you'll find it!

i went down the list of stores that the ad said had it...and called each one until I found the store that had it...

you can try it on there and then buy it somewhere else for less if you can bargain
