in your opinion, do you think its important to do the ring shopping thing with FH? or would you buy something if you saw it, even if you werent with him?

Personally, I don't care if he's with me, only b/c he's getting his from another place (he wants an Irish claddagh ring engraved on it but still the traditional band...hard to describe) and I'm going to get one (or two!) from the place he got my ring. I think I would only bring him b/c he knows them.
But, if I found something I liked for 80% off, I would buy immediately!!!

FH would not be very happy with me if I didn't include him in buying my wedding band. He had a say in the band and he was pretty picky too.

we went together when we got our rings.. he wanted to pick his own out.. if i saw something when i wasn't with him i wouldn't buy it on the spot.. i would show it to him and see if he liked it too

Honestly, I don't think FH cares if I buy it with or without him, but I want him to be there when I pick it out.
I'm in the same boat, he is fine w/me doing all the leg work of getting quotes, etc but I wouldnt do it w/out him!!! Actually it might upset him....not sure he is VERY laid back about things but sometimes he surprises me w/what actually bothers him.

I think I'd have to go with FH because I don't want any surprises and I want him to be very happy with the ring he HAS to wear from the REST OF HIS LIFE

i dont know if we will go together... i would most likely get his online... he most likely wont wear his ring because of work so im not buying an expensive one to sit on the dresser everyday...
