Original post by DebMaher

1. I prefer that my underwear matches my bra.
2. I cannot wear red lipstick; I look like the devil.
3. When I laugh really hard, I snort like a pig (not attractive at all).
4. I used to want to be a poet.
5. I once stole a lipstick from a dept store and felt so guilty that I would burn away that I snuck it back in the next day and hid it. (I was 11)

7. I have a really big thing with rejection - and if a bunch of my friends are doing something, and I'm not formally invited i fell as if i'm not wanted there and that I've done something wrong (maybe i wasn't so well adjusted after all )

I am the same exact way Deb!

It sucks - they'll all say, 'you know you're always invited' but if they don't ask me, i don't know, it's just weird. i get really depressed about it. Sometimes I really wonder if it has anything to do with my father leaving when I was 4, or if it's just the way i'd be regardless...

This is great!

1. I hate chocolate chip cookies. (Weird, right?)

2. I hate the white creme in the middle of oreo cookies.

3. Everyone loved sitting near me during snack time (see #1 and #2)

4. I have a problem with locked doors. I will check them once more after I lock them and then worry for a while if it's locked...for example we'll lock the car door and halfway to the house I'll worry that I didn't lock it. I forget that I checked. This used to drive FH crazy. I'm also bad with the front door. I'll get on th bus to work and worry that I didn't lock the front door.

5. In HS I had a really bad attitude - very unhappy kid but I met FH in college and things changed for me. I've been working ever since to be a better person.

6. I have a little sister that I adore but haven't seen in 3 years.

9. I swallow my gum too.

10. When I am flipping through the channels and I come across the indian music channel I will stop and watch until FH makes fun of me.

3 - I can't wait to quit my job

4 - I am looking for a bag pipe teacher

5 - Amadeus has been my favorite movie since middle school (so much so that I ended up making German my minor in college, and then found a way to spend a year in Germany after college on a work / study program)

Okay first i have to say...galina i can't believe you dated chip!!

I love getting to know your girls!! You're all so cute in your own special ways!!

1. Probably the accomplishment I'm most proud of is losing over 100 lbs in the last few years (a combo of diet and excercise with a bit of weight watchers mixed in )

2. I'm deathly afraid of being in the basement alone.

3. When I sneeze I can probably start an earthquake! (it's as loud and obnoxious as my personality)

4. I'm a bit on the psychic side...I have feelings about things or know things before people tell me or I see them.

5. I'm very musical. I can play the flute, piano, and violin and I've also taught myself to play the guitar. Did I mention my love of karaoke?

6. I'm a a glutton (see number 1)!! My favorite activity is eating and/or drinking. I know it's pathetic...

7. I like to walk around the house naked when no one is home.

8. Almost every morning I listen to music and put on some high heels and dance in my room! Lately though, I've been listening to wedding music and crying

9. I'm obsessed with reality tv.

10. I have lots of fears and my biggest one is losing Ray. There's this quote 'If you lived to be 100 years old, i would want to be 100 minus 1 day so i would never have to live a moment without you.' That's how I feel. The loss of my grandmother and uncle whom I was very close to have really affected me and now I have a fear of all my loved ones leaving me.

okay that's enough therapy for today!

thanks to everyone who is posting - it's so interesting to read everything and I find that what I thought were my little peculiarities are pretty common - which is so refreshing!

1. I had my tonsils removed at 29 - best thing I did. . . haven't had a single sore throat since (I'm 31) Highly recommend it to anyone who gets chronic sore throats/snores/bad allergies/sleep apnea.
2. I am insanely afraid of frogs.
3. I've hated my middle name all of my life and yesterday I put it on my wedding invitation (apologies to anyone with the name jean - it's fine on its own - but Deirdre Jean is just bad, imo. . . dont know why I put it on the invitation, I really dont.

I already posted something similar to this on another post, or maybe even on NWR but I can add 5 more

3. I have a craving for Mexican food at least 3 times a week
4. I miss my grandfather terribly
5. I love Stern in the morning

I am soooo afraid of vomit- the sound people make while getting sick actually scares me into a panic and tears.

Re: BY POPULAR DEMAND EXTENDED QOTD: Tell us TEN things about you we don't already know. (If already posted-add some more please!)

Sorry I'm posting so late...but here it goes:

1) I was the baby for ten years until my parents (divorced) had daughters within 2 years of each other...so now I am a middle child of 7! (Mom and Dad had 3 of us, Mom had 1, Dad had 3 more)

2) I hated HS with such a passion that even though I barely attended I managed to graduate 1/2 year early and didn't go to prom, senior trip or anything class-related and I have NO regrets!

3) I tend to write A LOT...too much if you ask anyone. I can go on and on...I talk fast and get off topic, smetimes losing my point...I can ramble on and on forever!

4) I did not want to get married or have a big wedding. My idea of 'perfect' was my closest and dearest (and fi) saying our vows overlooking the ocean or in a garden atop a mountain. The big wedding thing has always been fiance's dream, so I'm doing this for him. And it's more fun that I thought!

5) I was highly impatient and moody until I met my fi, he was the calmest and sweetest guy on earth and his patience and love even when I was being a bi*t@h totally changed me.

6) I love people's birthdays and think EVERYONE shuld make a big deal. Not having cake and candles on your birthday should be a sin.

7) I have a 'different' complexion and can't wear any makeup unless it's neutral...I mean, I can but then I'll look like a hooker. If I wear lipstick, blush and eye shadow I look really 'made up'.

8) I have really straight hair and have always wished it was curly.

9) I LOVE my cat...I speak to him like he's my child and call him my 'baby'. I'm sure it's unhealthy, but I don't care...I love you Mr. Blue! My fiance HATES it when I say 'Mr. Blue, go to daddy' or 'come to mommy'...heehee, I'm sick!

10) I don't make friends easily, especially females. I'm one of those people who hates drama and gossip (I would NEVER fight for my man or any man) so I have the same friends for over 10 years...totalling no more than 5 friends! All my friends have a specific role...the loud one, the drunk (me & my friend Mary!), the shy one, etc. We compliment each other well.

Wow, this was fun...thanks for starting the thread!
