C & H Bridal and my headpiece

I went to C&H today and ordered my headpiece & veil. Here is my headpiece (**** the flash from the camera )



Here is their selection of headpieces, tons of them!:



I ordered a 2 tier waterfall veil, with rolled edges, elbow length, plain, no pearls or anything on it.

My detachable cathedral veil will be 9 feet long & have pearls & crystals (rhinestones) scattered on it, with more pearls & crystals at the bottom of it.

She glued on a pearl & a rhinestone for an example: (this is only a sample veil not mine)


I also got these hair pins (5 of them) to scatter in my hair, Looks real pretty through the veil:

Really nice. Where's this place? I found e-bay to be the best prices for eveything. I got the same tiara as you and I paid $8.50 for it! I've seen it in the bridal salons for $179! Last weekend I went to Tri County flea market to price a veil.. I got the one I wanted on e-bay for $14.99 tri count wanted $112.

ebay is great for tiaras & headpieces, but C & H is custom making my veil exactly the way i dreamed!

BTW, you just missed me at C& H, I got there around 2:30

The lady was great, she knew exactly what look I was going for !!!
She is custom making me my chiffon veil for a lot less $$$ than the Bridal shop wanted
Mine is pretty plain, i guess, white chiffon, to wear under my up-do, no blusher. no beads, cathedral length though
I want it to look like Lisat's but in Chiffon

I didnt take my digi-cam w/me

I ordered my headpiece and veil yesterday from C&H. The lady there is very patient and once I showed her a picture of my dress she had lots of ideas of what would look best. She has been very busy the last few days with the LIW ladies.

I haven't gotten my veil yet from ebay so I don't know if I'll even like it. It looked beautiful on the web site but I'm not even 5 foot tall and I'm afraid it might be too long. Elbow length is like waist to me, LOL! Where is C&H bridals may I can check them out. Good luck I can't wait to see you in it!

C & H is located on 40th st between 7th & 8th avenues in Manhattan. It's a tiny little shop.

Once I decide on a hairstyle - I really need to focus on my headpiece and veil.

Jenn you made great choices! I ordered the same type of veil exactly, (Except I did not get the cathedral length piece). Congrats, it looks beautiful!

I was w/my MOH at the time, and she may get the hair pins for her hair, they were so pretty. I'll probably get them for her

Jenn, she didnt mention anyone, I told her you sent me there, and she starting talking fast and i couldnt understand LOL
Hee hee, then I got all caught up in the veils and forgot to ask again
