Hi ladies, I am a grad student at C.W. Post and was hoping to do my engagement photos on campus. Any brides who have taken pictures there: do you need to get permission from the school/is there a charge? I was just banking on the fact that I'm a current student, but now I'm worried we might need official permission. Thanks!

i can find out everything, but my fh's brother is a coach there and went to school there, had his engagement pictures and his wedding picturse taken there. i dont think he had to pay anything, or it might've been a small fee since he attended the school. just call and ask and then post it cause i was thinking of having my pics there. his pics came out beautiful with the fall leaves all over the place

I am also alum, and just called the general info #, told the operator I was looking to take wedding pictures on campus, and she transferred me to the right person. Easy!

Interesting...I called and spoke with the P.R. office and Conference Services and the official policy is that they do not allow it. However, it's a pretty difficult policy to enforce so the unofficial rule is don't ask don't tell (they were very nice about it, but couldn't grant permission per se. I'd love to hear more about what other people did.

I am not an alumni and took enagagement photos there. We just walked right in with our photographer and shot. No fee, no permission slip...
