Cablevision io/voice questions.

I am moving soon and have a few questions.

With optimum voice, is it possible to have 1 cable modem but two separate phone lines? For example, if my landlord and I share 1 cable modem, can we both have optimum voice, each with our own phone number?

How much is an extra cable box if my landlord has IO?

1 Phone line per modem I believe. I think oV by itself is like $40 buks a month or something along those lines.

No, we don't share a cable modem, I was just trying to word my question in a way to make it easy to understand.. I just meant if someone in my household has a cable modem (Dh and I are going to be moving out of our apartment and into mom's house for awhile to save money and we wanted the cable modem), could we both have opt. voice by going thru my modem (since it seems cheaper for my mom to have voice as well, I thought she could possibly connect through our modem but have her own line. Thanks for your help.
