Cabo anyone? Or maybe Kauai?

Hi ladies!

FH and I are looking into and seriously considering Cabo for our honeymoon, has anyone ever been there? Any and all opinions are much appreciated!

We're also looking into Kauai as a possibility. We're thinking of staying somewhere affordable for around 8-9 nights and exploring the island, so any insight on Hawaii would be very helpful too. Can I even use affordable and Hawaii in the same sentence?

I haven't been to Cabo but my mom has and she said it's beautiful.
I also haven't been to Kauai but in July I'm going to Maui, Oahu and the big island so after that I can give insight on those islands.

I've been to Cabo twice! It's really wonderful down there! There's something for everyone down there: Romantic beaches, nightlife, good food. I stayed at Pueblo Bonito sunset beach. I really couldn't speak more highly of it!

I've never been to Kauai either, but I do love Maui. I'm looking into doing a week on Maui and a week in Oahu for my honeymoon so if you like either of those I can forward you any of the info I've gathered.

We just went to Kauai (and Maui) on our honeymoon…we absolutely loved Kauai! We stayed at the St. Regis in Princeville but if you are not looking to spend as much, I suggest the Westin (also in Princeville and guests can use the St. Regis Property). One of my coworkers stayed at the Grand Hyatt (opposite side of the island from Westin/St. Regis) and had nothing but great things to say about that hotel. Kauai is generally a quiet island – it’s not as commercialized as Maui but there is a ton to do! I suggest the boat tour (with an hour of snorkeling included) of the Napali Coast & the helicopter tour of the island & Napali coast. If you and your FH are hikers, there are a ton of trails. Zip-lining is also a popular activity (but we didn’t have time do that). Be sure to check out Hanalei (cute town!)

I'm doing Hawaii for my honeymoon and I wouldn't say it's affordable. The Koa Kea in Kauai is really nice and seems to be very affordable for that island.

I've been to Cabo, and it's beautiful only thing I didn't like was that most of the time, the beach isn't swimmable because the current is pretty strong there. Other than that it was romantic, the nightlife was awesome and food was great! I stayed at the Dreams Los Cabos. I also heard Kauai is beautiful, but I've never been. Good luck!!

I went to Cabo last yr and loved it! It is gorgeous there! We stayed at the Riu and loved it there. Great staff, very friendly and accomodating. There is plently to do no matter what it is u like. FH and I wanted more of a relaxing vaca so we stood on the resort most of the time. We left one day to do a pirate ship excursion... it was fun (although I was a bit nervous to be on the boat lol) and it took you all around and you got to view the strip n lovers and divorce beach. After we walked around and had dinner at a restaurant on the beach (I forget the name) but it was really good. They had live shows and music and fireworks!
