So fH and I finally narrowed it down to the two locations we may want to go for honeymoon. My question is can anyone recommend an all inclusive hotel for Cabo mexico or Turks and Caicos.

I wouldn't go anywhere in Mexico right now! A US Marine just got murdered in Cancun a few weeks ago. The Mexican Gov't doesn't have control over the drug cartels.

YIkes!! I know they had a problem with the drug cartels but I thought it was getting better. FH kept telling me he rather not go..I guess now I believe him

Whoa. Thanks for this info. I thought most resort areas were safe as long as you didn't travel outside of them. What a waste. It's pretty fun there.

If you want a truly worry-free, all-inclusive an pampered vacation in Turks and Caicos, I highly recommend Sandals Turks and Caicos Resort and Spa on the Island of Providenciales. This was, by far, the best vacation I have had in the Carribean. I've been to the Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Keys, Jamaica and Puerto Rico and non could top the Turks.

I would not listen to this - Mexico is not bad. You have to be safe wherever you go - **** happens everywhere. We went to Cabo and it is NOWHERE near Cancun. We had no issues.

I agree with the poster. The marine that killed is a guy that my cousin went to HS. The whole thing is very sad. We thought about going to Mexico but there is too much going on over there.

I agree with the poster. The marine that killed is a guy that my cousin went to HS. The whole thing is very sad. We thought about going to Mexico but there is too much going on over there.
I went to high school with the marine that got killed, such a tragedy. I have been to Mexico twice, Cancun and Cabo and loved it both times but I would never go back after hearing about his death and what they put his family through in the aftermath. I have also been to Turks and it was amazing.
