has anyone gotten there hair done at cactus in huntington? I am interested in 'Rob' in particular who was just recommended to me by FH's mom to do my hair for our wedding....
Anyone ever have their hair done by him? Any reviews of Cactus in general?

i'm getting all my girls' hair done by cactus. 3 of them are going to the one in huntington and the rest are going to the one in dix hills..i had to split it up because we would have had to be there by 4am if i didn't..lol the prices are the best that i got from 5 different salons and i love the people there..go for it

I go to cactus in Commack and have nothing but rave reviews about everyone I've used - either in the hair salon or the spa.
I think that you should try him.

i don't know rob but i've gotten my hair done from them before and they are very knowledgable. go for a trial..check him out

I've gone to Cactus in HUntington for years and years. Peter does my hair (he is part owner and he is excellent). Carol Rene used to do my hair, she is good but her schedule didn't work with mine. I like Peter better anyway. Peter does my highlights as well as cutting my hair and I might have him straighten my hair too (if I stop being such a chicken about it)
Kim did my hair for my wedding day and I loved it. All of my BMs hair their hair done there too.

I've been going to Cactus in Huntington for years as well. Allison does my highlights and cuts.
Nicole at Cactus in Commack did an updo for me last year and was excellent.

Actually Kim did my hair for my wedding day (Peter does my normal hair...cuts and color, etc). Kim is the one to go to for wedding day hair She is in the Dix Hills Cactus (on Jericho) Peter is at the Dix Hills Cactus too (I misread your post before...they are not at the Huntington Village Cactus)
My hair lasted ALLLLLLL day long! My veil stayed in all night too and was in there SO GOOD I had to get DH to help me take it out that nigth!!
