CAKE!!!

What is the best cake you've had at a wedding? What was the best flavor/fillng? Just looking for some ideas....

i had this angelfood cake that had pineapple cooked into it and coconut filling...

it was so different and amazing!

I have to say my own. I don't usually like wedding cake, so I was very particular when choosing mine. We had chocolate ganache with chocolate cake, choc mousse filling and cannoli cream with choc. chips. It was definitely death by chocolate, but so amazing. We sampled the same cake from 3 bakers---Fiorello Dolce in Huntington's blew us away.

My Moms wedding cake was from Create a Cake...chocolate cake with rasberry preserves on one half and chocolate chip cannoli filling on the other half

but that pineapple one sounds GOOD!!
I want cake...

i know it's sad, but i've never had a wedding cake that i thought actually tasted good. they all taste stale to me.

wow - i cannot remember a single wedding cake i've ever had! they must not have been memorable. glad you asked this b/c now this is something i'll have to give a lot of attention to: making sure my cake tastes amazing!

I really only ate my own because I am not a cake person. But mine was AMAZING we did half vanilla cake and Coconut buttercream and half in vanilla cake with Dulce De Leche buttercream icing. AMAZING

I went to a bridal showcase at Smithtown Landing yesterday and they had a rainbow cookie cake from Create a Cake... That's looking like a good choice to me!
