Cake???

how far in advance do you plan on seeing the baker? Mine cake comes with the RH.

We have been in contact with a few bakeries and most are saying wait until January-February to do a tasting.

I met another baker last week who does mini cupcakes and regular cupcakes and I may go this route because they are making a CANNOLI CREAM cupcake which I LOVE!!

The bakery that our RH uses told us they only needed 6 weeks, but I plan on calling again about 3 months before.

Since it comes with the Full package i got... We will start seein them on Jan/Feb (wedding is on Sep)

I plan to contact the bakery sometime in January to set up an appt. for a tasting and to pick our cake design.

I just ordered a cake for my dads bday and when I was talking to the baker she said march or april is good for a june wedding. So I guess that makes it about 2 or 3 months ahead of time. She said summer they are very busy with cakes so the earlier the better.
