Re: Cake Boss
I wanted to when I went to meet my cousin in jersey but when we got there the line to get in the place was down the block and around the corner. Got back in the car and never went in.

Re: Cake Boss
i have a friend who works there as a cake decorator. Awhile ago she told me that their cakes look amazing, but don't taste that great. I don't know about their other pastries and stuff though.

Re: Cake Boss
My friend went there for the cake for her sister's baby shower. She said it was great but wasn't really worth the hassel.

Try Brian at Sweet Karma in East Meadow or Malverne Bakery. They both make awesome red velvet cakes.

Honestly its not worth it. Yes his cakes are pretty - no they dont taste as good as they look. We had one made for my MIL's birthday. It was just okay.

Re: Cake Boss
I went once but DH and I want to go back. It's fun just for the experience. I don't think their cakes and pastries taste any better than the bakeries that we have around here though. As for the line---it seems long but it moves pretty quickly. We waited for about a half hour. The prices weren't so bad either--unless you order a custom cake. We even saw Buddy's wife and a couple of his sisters. I would go just for the experience.
