I think Malverne Bakery is one of the best around. My Mom bought me Red Velvet cupcakes from there for my birthday this year and they were AMAZING!

I think I'm going to head there - Where is it?

I called them to make an appointment, thinking I'd get the grooms cake from them but they told me they dont deliver to Long Island, that we have to pick it up ourselves! I cancelled it then and there.

in some ways, this was a good thing bec i got my gc from Lulu's Bakery and not only it looks great, it tastes perfect! plus, we got it for possibly a fraction of d price compared to the cake boss' price.

One of my bm is a pastry chef and used to work there, she wanted to learn about the business to open up her own shop. She quit after six months and all she learned how to do was over price cakes. The ingredients they use are really cheap, hence why the tastes don't taste good. Basically he's a big sell out
