Cake - Chateau Briand

Hey ladies... Can anyone shed some light on CB's bakery, Francesco's ? I've read some not-so-great reviews on here about them. Anyone who can post a pic of their cake and some input would be great!!!

Be very very specific about the design of your cake. I thought i was (said i needed tiers with roses in between) anyway, it came out like crap and i hated my cake. Its been a few years since then so i am over it but i cringe every time i see a picture :(

Re: Cake - Chateau Briand

We had no complaints with their cake! Don't worry about the reviews. The only thing I wish I could do differently is add color to the cake but other than that, it was delicious and I thought Francesco's were great to deal with. Just a heads up that the fondant on the cake will cost you about $400 extra.

coffeeisgreen That's the style I am looking for as well... I was worried about what styles they were offering, and I figured that they wouldn't give the fondant for free... but $400????

Re: Cake - Chateau Briand

Plenty but I did not like the look of the cakes without the fondant so it was 100% worth the money to me.

Yes 400 lol I am not sure what the price is based on. Maybe the size of the cake.
