Cake Cutter and Server

Re: Cake Cutter and Server

I am a little (ok, alot) older than most of you girls here...I have been briefly married before and I have a 18 year old daughter. IMO,based onmy past experiences, I would do the Cake Cutter and Server. You are going to use it more times in the future than you can possibly imagine. For holidays, for birthdays, for anniversaries. It is a beautiful keepsake. You dont have to get a crazy expensive one, I am not, but I do plan on getting one.

I registered for the Lenox Bellina set, I hope I get them! If not, I'm definitely going to buy it myself.

We got these also. My aunt, who lives in FL bought them and sent them home with another aunt for my shower. My poor aunt didn't know what was in the gift and almost got arrested trying to board the plane with them!

That's the one I have, it's prettier in person and it's heavy.

Is this something I have to get? Wasn't planning on it...

I wasn't going to get a set. I can't find one I actually like at all (I never knew how picky I could be!) -- there's one set from Things Remembered that I liked, but it was like $85 plus personalization and it just wasn't worth that to me! I figured I'd just get a cake server someday when I find myself serving pies or something. I don't see why I need a special one at our wedding.

Your Rh has them if you have your own. DOn't worry.
I bought my set through a catalog for less than $20 personalized. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for something I would probably use only once...I just decorated it to go with my theme.
