Re: CAKE CUTTING SONG

I think that IceCream by Sara Mclaclan is really good, and CUT THE CAKE by the average white band.. I don't know if they are traditional, bu tI haven't heard them at a wedding

Re: CAKE CUTTING SONG

My sister used 'Happy together' by the turtles and we're thiking about 'grow old with you', but I kind of want to dance to that. It's SO silly, but it makes me cry anyway.

We used the Theme song from 'Mad About You'. It worked really well for us!

Re: CAKE CUTTING SONG

I wanted to use Peaches n Cream by 112,(clean version) but FH says he doesn't want his grandma to figure out the meaning, so we went with
When I'm 64 by the Beatles

My brother used ice cream by Sarah McGlockin(Sorry for the spelling!!!)

THAT'S WHAT WE'RE USING TOO!!!
Sarah is one of the many artists that we both like so it's very fitting. Great song, cute, funny...not as common.

oh..and I can never spell it either!

Oh..in case somebody's never heard it...

Ice Cream- Sarah McGlachlan

Your love is better than ice cream
better than anything else that I've tried
and your love is better than ice cream
everyone here know how to fight

and it's a long way down
it's a long way down
it's a long way down to the place
where we started from

Your love is better than chocolate
better than anything else that I've tried
oh love is better than chocolate
everyone here knows how to cry

it's a long way down
it's a long way down
it's a long way down to the place
where we started from...
