Cake Fillings?

Any recommendations??

What are you having in your cake?

Also, is anyone having different cakes or fillings for each layer?

ok - I am shamefully admitting I loathe canolli filling. (And yes, I am Italian and should know better.)

We had one layer of chocolate fudge and one layer of cookies and cream mousse. In the top tier, we put peanut butter mousse. (They advised us against putting it in the rest ofthe cake, b/c of peanut allergies, so we just had it in 'our' tier...)

I recently went to a wedding that every layer was a different falvor it even had a brownie filling. it was very very good

We were only allowed to have one filling so we picked yellow cake with chocolate pudding.

This was ours....and it was chocolate cake with hazelnut filling imbibed with Frangelico (like the Italian chocolates - Baci) mmmm

We had chocolate cake with rasperry and bavarian cream filling. It was delicious!

I HAVE A 5 TIER CAKE...FIRST FILLING IS STRAWBERRY, SECOND IS CUSTARD, THIRD IS CANOLLI, FOURTH IS CHOCOLATE AND THE FIFTH (WHICH IS OURS TO KEEP) IS STRAWBERRY AND CUSTARD.

YUMMY...I AM VERY HUNGRY!!!!
