what are your cake fillings? and type of cake. also, had anyone had choc mousse w/ raspberry filling from erga's bakery?

mines chocolate cake and each tier has a different filling raspberry, mocha, cannoli and chocolate fudge

I haven't decided on my cake fillings yet. But I have had cakes with choc. mousse filling from Erga's, and they are delish! They are an excellent bakery!

I am a bit fan of fruit preserve filling...while it doesn't sound so sexy it is a nice counterpoint to the sweet cake and frosting, and makes the cake a little lighter.

my cake has Choc w/ choc fudge and the other choice is white cake with raspberry filling

ours was chocolate cake with 2 layers of chocolate mousse filling and one layer of fresh strawberries and pastry cream filling
