We did a custard with raspberry filling.
We wanted something we would not normally get otherwise we would have gotten cannoli.

I'm all about the chocolate mousse and cannoli filling. So that's what I want. I'm completely ok with yellow cake and buttercream.

Thanks I was just looking at something with Oreos. My fiance loves Oreos so that would be great. Was it Oreo and mousse filling?

Yes- it had chunks of oreo mixed in a mousse filing. It was amazing lol

we are probably going to have a cassata cake. My friend did choc cake and banana filling, it was the best cake I ever had at a wedding.

Red velvet with Vanilla bean frosting. Had those as cupcakes at our Engagement Party- amazing!!

omg best cake i had was red velvet with cookies and cream filling... normally people go with cream cheese with red velvet but this was just soooooooooo amazing. we are copying it for our wedding lol

blackforest. i had never heard of the other one, dont even remember their name. just a note- almost EVERYTHING is extra. not sure how larkfield will charge us (billing goes thru them)

We're going with a simple vanilla cake with vanilla custard and raspberry filling because we're not doing a Viennese table so we the cake to be as accessible for everyone as possible. The best wedding cake I ever had was red velvet with cream cheese icing.

I hate any kind of fruit for the filling. I never eat it or I will eat around it. My favorite is always vanilla custard and/or chocolate filling. I also love red velvet which is most likely the flavor our wedding cake will be.
