Does a vanilla cake with cookies and cream filling sound good for a groom's cake combination? I'm not sure what flavors to use, but I want something a little different and fun, and not chocolate since our wedding cake will be devil's food cake. Any ideas?
well the only thing he mentioned was something like a boston creme donut. not sure if that's possible in a cake though. maybe it could be vanilla cake with boston creme and chocolate ganache or something.. how does that sound?
what about red velvet w/ cream cheese frosting? thats always a popular one!
the red velvet we can do and i'm considering it, but not really too excited about it. i really wanted something that most people don't usually have. not peanut butter or anything too crazy that some people might not like at the RD. it's coming from the sugar chic, so if anyone has any input on what flavors they've tried from her, that would be great too!
