I don't know if this place does wedding cakes, but you can always ask - Martha's Country Bakery in Astoria. Their stuff is sooooooo good!

marthas also has a bakery in forest hills.. we get their crumb cakes and muffins delievered to my office every monday..soooooooooooooooooooo fresh and yummy.. im sure their cakes are amazing..

i know there is a bakery in astoria called terizzi bakery (sp?), but I've never ordered anything from there so I can't recommend it, but i saw on their website that they do offer samples when you book an appointment.

La Guli on Ditmars Blvd. in Astoria makes wedding cakes. She has a couple of really pretty fondant ones in the window right now.
