Is it a must to have one for your wedding or does the hall cut it with their own knives. I just trying to at this point to cut costs if possible cause i added everything up and wanted to fall over.

I wasn't going to to buy one and just use the RH to save money but I ended up getting one as a gift for my Bridal shower so I will be using that now. I don't really see the need in spending money on something like that when you don't need to!

yup i agree. or you could just check out michael's or ac moore. they have them cheap in their wedding sections. but we received ours as a gift

We used ours for the first slice cake cutting, snapped a few pics, and then that was it. The RH uses their own knives when they take the cake back to the kitchen to be cut. You can certainly use one of theirs for your cake cutting. In our pics you can't even tell what we're using!!

I put one on the registry. If I get it, I get it. If I don't oh well, at least I'm not spending my own money on it. I'd never use it again.
