...any suggestions on which combinations are good/which ones to stay away from? TIA!

Use the diet soda instead of the eggs and oil. A LOT less calories

anything chocolate and cherry works REALLY well. Like diet black cherry soda and choc cake mix.

Ok, I have heard of this before, but I never thought about the logistics...

How much soda do you add then? Is it the equivalent of the volume of what the oil and water would have been?

it depends on the cake mix bc you're using diet soda.

just a word of advice..really cook it bc you're not using eggs or oil and it stays goopy if its not cooked enough.

My dad made me a birthday cake once and it was like the wee wah cake in the Little Rascals... lol
