I've heard about people doing cupcakes now instead of a regular cake? Which do you think is cheaper? And how do they display the cupcakes? Are they stacked?

My cousin just did this for her son's birthday party. She ordered Elmo cupcakes and had them stacked up similar to the pics posted. I thought it was adorable and different!
