What is a reasonable price for cake for 130-150 guests which is about a 4 tier cake? I got quoted $595 for it with fondant and $500 for it with buttercream. Is that too much? TIA!!

That actually sounds cheap for fondant. Works out to around $4.00 per slice. I'd say that's a pretty good deal.
Our cake was included in our RH package, so not sure what the retail value of it was.

Yeah these girls are right, usually cake goes for $4.00 a slice and then it just depends on the details and other add-ons. That isn't too bad for a 4 tier cake (for fondant and buttercream)

I went to Dortoni in Levittown. We are using buttercream because I hate the taste of Fondunt, although it looks really good. We paid about $400 for a 4-tier cake and each layer is a different filling.

Are they giving you a discount? Most RHs can get their cakes at a wholesale price and pass the savings on to you..
