Cake question

Is everyone using the cake provided by the hall or is anyone bringing their own cake?

My hall is going through black forest bakery...their cakes are pretty good. Other bakeries can get pretty expensive...I've only tried one incredible wedding cake, and it had a choc hazelnut filling--my friend said it cost her 2,000.

I am using the cake they provide. I am going to show them a pic of what I want and if I have to add money to it then I will. I'm not so worried about the cake since noone will prob eat it because im getting the venetian hour.

We're using the cake that is provided. We're having the Viennesse hour so in all honesty I think ppl. will care less about the cake.

We're using the cake that VYC provides. They go through a bakery in Sayville so I'm sure it will be fine. We're also getting an ice cream bar so I really don't think the cake is going to be that important.

we are using the cake thats provided, they go through luigis dolcerria in staten island (hall is in brooklyn) bakery is wonderful same owner as alfonso's when it was open on 18th ave...we are going to see what designs they offer and show them a pic...

We are getting our cake from an outside bakery. I didn't like the selection of cakes that our hall provided, and I pretty much have my heart set on a specific type of cake. So we'll get it from elsewhere.

We are using the one provided. We fell in love with the cake at another wedding. That basically sealed the deal for us.

Im using the cake they provide - i also have ventian hr - so im not too worried - plus its an extra expense for me if I would but the cake!

They provide the cake, but we read some not so great reviews about it. With this, we did bring up having our baker do it, and got a whole story of signing waivers incase anyone got sick etc. FI and I have yet decided on what we're going to do.
