does the bride & groom usually but the cake knife/serving set or is that something that someone else buys usually as a gift?
I only ask bc i found a nice one for $9.99-

Put it on your registry, someone will get it for you for your shower (normally they do).

we bought ours...but only bc we had a gift card to fortunoffs that we had to use and we went there and loved the toasting flutes...bought those...then went on a hunt to get the matching cake server set. Otherwise i wouldve put it on my registry!

Usually its a shower gift, that you register for, I got one at my e-party that is beautiful so I didn't register for one at all.

I bought mine too! It wasn't a lot. I think liek $15 but it's engraved too. Pics in my album.

My mom bought it for me, i felt too limited in selection by having to pick one from the place you register, but you could def put it on your registry if you want to but if its only 9.99 i would just buy it myself
