Cake Server silly question...

So I was almost about to spend a ton of money on a cake server & knife and then thought about the fact that I might never take them out of the box after the wedding.

So my question is,

Did you, or are you going to, use them ever again?? Or are they one of those things they just get put away in the box in the closet after the wedding?~!?

I added a really nice set to our registry. If nobody gets it, I'll get one closer to the wedding that's less expensive I'm hoping we use it again on our anniversary or on birthdays, etc...
