So I was almost about to spend a ton of money on a cake server & knife and then thought about the fact that I might never take them out of the box after the wedding.
So my question is,
Did you, or are you going to, use them ever again?? Or are they one of those things they just get put away in the box in the closet after the wedding?~!?

We are currently using them as our every day server set. So any time we have cake, we use them!

I thought the same thing, and I don't even really eat cake, so I'm going to avoid the expense altogether and buy nicer toasting flutes (cause I certainly WILL use those!)

I got one for my shower. Otherwise, I would've just used the one's the hall provided. Nobody noticed them and nobody got a picture of them and they are simply sitting in the box in the closet. If it's not important to you, skip it!

I got the Vera Wang set that matches the flutes. That way, they can be reused.
If you don't think you'll use it again, then I wouldn't bother with the expense.

i requested one on my registry and it was bought for me already...i think it's nice to have...i picked one out that matched my lenox china that i picked out so i plan to use it for cakes/pies whenever i have company in the future

Put it on your bridal shower registry. Last few weddings i went to they did use their special cake cuter and server. My sister got hers as a shower gift and uses them all the time.

I got them as a present for our engagement party. I plan on using them, and keeping them to pass down. I have a family friend who's great grandparents kept and passed theirs down so all their children, grand children & great grand children ect ect used them. I like things like that!

I love mine!! I will display them one day... when I have more space to do so! I don't have much from the wedding I would display other than that, photos and toasting flutes. I will definitely use them anytime we serve cake for birthdays/occasions!
My Mom got them for us as a gift and my photographer captured this photo which I love!
