Cake tasting!!!

The milleridge bakery cakes are AMAZING! We got to pick 3 flavor combos and they gave us three separate 9 in round cakes to bring home :) We tried chocolate with mocha filling and buttercream icing, chocolate with bavarian cream filling and buttercream icing, and vanilla cake with vanilla custard and whipped cream icing.

The chocolate with mocha was absolutely delicious, but we really liked the chocolate bavarian cream too, so we may do every other tier or something.

Also, the whipped cream was the best tasting (both were delicious, but the buttercream was just heavier), but I am worried about how it will look when it's all decorated. The buttercream is a little stiffer and I think it'll hold up better when it's decorated..

Anyway, if anyone is looking for a bakery this place is amazing. I didn't know much about it, but it really is a hidden gem.

no we didn't pay for ours... the milleridge does it a little differently though because their bakery is tiny.. Usually for other places you go into the bakery for your cake tasting and they give you like little cupcakes to try. Either way, you get to try alot of cake :)
