So I sat down w/ my reception hall to finalize menu, etc....
He suggested chocolate cake with oreo filling...while that sounds soooo yummy to me. I dont know if everyone will feel the same way. Should I do it anyways? (keep in mind, I'm having a large viennese hour)

If you're having a Vienese hour, the cake will be an afterthought...i can't remember eating cake when there's been a Vienese, but that's just me.
Also, I personally think the Oreo filling might be too sweet. I say keep the cake simple, but in the end it's your decision.

If you are having a large viennese - then the cake is fine - its not the only desert.
If thats whatyou really like - i think you are in the position with the large viennese to have it while not having toplease everyone else with it

You don't have to go with what he suggested... pick a flavor that both you and FH like! If you like Oreo then go for it... there are always going to be people that don't like whatever flavor you end up choosing, so remember you can't please everyone! FH and I are going Saturday to taste some different flavors at our bakery... can't wait!!

I liked the way it sounded, that's why I went with it...
How do you go about making appt w/ bakery? I'm using the in-house one...so can I still go and taste?

Pick the cake you like. We are having a full vienese too our cake is yellow w/ choc. mousse filling ( fh chose it)
