Cake upgrades

Are any of you ladies doing an upgrade on your cakes and if so...how much are they charging you? I was just quoted a ridicioulos amount and I feel like they're trying to jerk us for our money. I know it depends on the size of the cake and if you're using fondant or buttercream frosting. I'm so furious right now because I know that the cake I want is nowhere near the price I was quoted.

I allowed FH to call the vendor and negotiate a price and he was completely useless. He actually got suckered into believing that the cake was discounted. This is why we should never let a man do a women's job!!! Lol

Sorry girls I just needed to vent.

I'll see if my pic uploads....

If it did....I was charged $50 to do this design in butter cream. She made mention that if we wanted fondant it would be like $200-$400 more. Hope that helps!

Cake upgrades

We upgraded a bit with the fondant and some other minor things and I believe we paid around $300 or so

Thanks ladies. Try putting a 1 in front of your numbers and that's what I'm being quoted. Smh
