So... any help on the cost of caligraphy for invitations? Honestly I am looking for different avenues. The way I figure the envelope is being tossed and I'd rather spend the money elsewhere but I do realize that using Avery labels may not look the best although in consideration. I am contemplating printing them myself which I figure could be disasterous, having them hand done which I am assuming is costly, or I wonder if Kinkos printing them is an option. Anyone have any ideas or familiary with costs associated with any of these options?

Re: Caligraphy...
Honestly, I printed the addresses myself on my envelopes using my personal printer (ok, work's) and it wasn't that bad. You just need to make sure you have extras and be patient. every computer is different (mac vs pc, vista vs windows xp, etc ...) and the configuration for your envelope will vary depending on the size of it, the font you choose and the size of the font ... but if you play around with it you should get it. I only wasted about 10 envelopes I think.
someone posted a thread on how to do it - i will look for it and add it to this post. I think I notebooked it...

Re: Caligraphy...
Thanks! I was going to start attempting it this past weekend. I figure I could always start with my immediate family... they won't care if it's messed up a bit. Makes me feel a bit better and of course I only have about 2 weeks to do it as I need to send them out at the end of the month!

Do you know how long it takes? I need to send them and get them back in about two weeks of time. Nothing like waiting until the last minute!

if you dont mind me asking...
was it $112 for: address on front, return address on flap of outside envelope and then address on front of rsvp?? or no??
i don't have inner envelopes so i just want the guests address written on the front with my return address on the flap of the outside envelope and then my address on the rsvp---do they not do that?

Re: Caligraphy...
I got computer calligraphy done for $0.19 per envelope by Exquisite Affairs Productions. Came out really nice... it was only outer envelopes though. The company I ordered my invites from did the back flap and the RSVP envelope.
